Question by Dan: Where to find work for a felon? I am about to be homeless…any resources?
I have been having a real hard time supporting myself. How does one stay on the up and up if there is no way to find work. NO ONE will give me a chance. It seems like I have to have more humility, more stamina, more perserverance then the average person to make it legal and successful if you have a felony. People easily say no to you and treat you like crap. Are there any success stories and do people know of any resources out there to help? Is there any money I can get from the government even temporarily? I havent eaten much in a while and soon I am going to have no place to live. No family and no friends. I am a good person and it was a mistake. I am bordering homeless. I dont do drugs or alcohol and just want an honest living. Please help…

A lot of felons find work doing housing and construction work. A felon I know works as a painter/ and cabinet stainer. Carpet laying also. Thank kind of thing. Good luck getting your life straightened out. I’m sure that it is hard.
