The results of alcohol intake have been depicted as the desiring force to enjoy temporary escape from the stresses and problems of life. But many are less concerned about the detrimental effects that are brought about by large amount of alcohol intake, because of its ability to release the mind and body from jitteriness and jinx of life and let you free in a dreamy world. Excess consumption leads to alcohol abuse. Some facts about intake of alcohol and alcohol abuse can be boiled down health and to an extent mental illness or rather psychological illness. There are risky effects of alcohol on the well being and health of a person. An addiction of its like is to said to bring a toll on the stomach and tissues, damaging them in the long-run. Cursed as a corrosive drink, it is said to flow into the blood and damage the different organs in the body. No doubt, the intake takes a toll on the various health aspects. However, the extent of damage depends upon gender and weight. Many would like to think that alcohol serves as a relaxant and depressant but causes further distress to the body, which includes symptoms like irregular heartbeats and abrupt elevation of the blood pressure. The various signs of alcohol intake include blurring of person’s sight, shortness of breath, disturbing sleeping patterns and much more. Undeniably, blackout is considered as the biggest side –effect that sends a person into memory loss, so and so that when he gets back his consciousness he fails to remember what he had said or done when he had the attack of black out. There is a drastic effect on liver and kidney, which gradually weakens to function rightly. This is one of the acute signs of alcohol abuse. Besides, these, a person face several kinds of disturbances that cause him to have a reckless life without any order. If you consider substance abuse, the effects are more or less the same and you will find most of the similar symptoms that bring a heavy toll on life.
