Smart recovery — Group is alternative to 12-step programs
Differing from other programs, SMART recovery uses four steps, as opposed to 12 and doesn't base their meetings on faith or a higher power. Using reason and a scientific approach, SMART reminds participants that they have the final say in their lives.
