Question by Carly: Can you have a self injury addiction?
I have been a self injurer since I was 10 (I am currently 15.) And it was like, i would cut all the time, mostly to ease the pain (like what drug addicts do, possibly?)
I had actually stopped doing it last summer, and i had not done it until Christmas, but then my mom and I got in this HUGE blow out, and I guess you could say I relapsed?
I am not completely sure if I am an ‘addict’ but i might be showing symptoms..

Yes, it’s called “self mutilation” or “cutting” for slang.
This usually requires treatment in counseling to learn how to deal with your feelings in a none destructive way.
